Digital Camera Noise
The following is an example of an digital photograph that exhibits digital camera noise mostly around the darker areas of the picture. In fact, you will find that most noise issues will be in those dark areas.

We love this picture and because we do. We took extra steps to make it look better when we print it out. This means taking out the noise. Maybe you can not see it above. But there is digital camera noise lurking. We used Neat Image for this particular picture. Here is a sample blow up for easy viewing:

Notice the off color in the above picture. For most pictures, you may not want to take the time to fix it since it is pretty hard to see in a normal 4x6 or even 5x7 photographs. But we were planning to blow it up to 8x10. Here is the picture after using Neat Image.
