My folks house in NJ still has some great roses. I took a couple of macro shots today. By the way, it was 70 degrees today :)

It's a Girl!!

Just went today for my wife's ultrasound and after two great boys - we will be having a girl!! Very exciting and here is a picture of a 3-D ultrasound picture of her. I didn't have time to scan it yet but here is a picture of it from my Nikon 4300.

Apple Photo iPod

I have been a big fan of the Apple iPod ever since my wife let me buy one several months ago. It has my companion for my sometimes long flights. Listen to some great tunes and have all of my usual PDA information such as my itinerary and some RSS news feeds that I can read while I wait in line.

Now Apple has released the long rumored and denied - Apple Photo iPod with a color screen. I must admit initially I was a purist. You know - iPod for music only since I have always felt that for the size and function it did not make sense to hold photos on my iPod. But I am slowly thinking that this is a great idea given that I use my iPod now as a portable storage device to hold documents and yes even photos. At least now I can view them on the iPod. A nice feature when you want to share your pictures with your distant family when you visit. Even better battery life - 15 hours of music or 5 hours of slideshows with music.

Beautiful Sunny Day in Boston

What a beautiful day at Boston today! I wonder how many more days of 70 degree weather will be left around here. This shot was taken at Bolyston Street right by the Commons.

BTW, I used Picasa to crop & enhance the picture and then use Hello to send it to my blog - so simple and cool. Hello does need some work though - a bit rough around the edges.
